The protagonist is Kyosuke Watarase, a student at a boarding school. One day, he suddenly receives a device containing a human-shaped artificial life form called a Replis from his family living overseas. It was something his father and brother had been researching and developing. Kyosuke tries to activate the Replis, setting its personality to that of his ideal girl, but an accident occurs, and a girl named Leu is born who is as immature as a baby and cannot be controlled. Leu looks like a girl his age, but her childlike behavior throws Kyosuke into disarray.
Kyosuke continues to live with Reu, keeping their relationship a secret from those around them...

The protagonist, Hiroto Kishimori, is a college student living without any particular purpose.
